“Starting Fresh: Finding Peace Before the Week Begins”

As Sunday fades and a new week approach, it’s easy to feel the weight of what’s waiting — the to-do lists, the deadlines, the uncertainties that never seem to slow down. Sometimes, Sunday night can feel less like rest and more like quiet worry.

But before the week begins, take a breath. God is already in your tomorrow. He has already gone before you — preparing what you’ll need, placing strength in your spirit, and peace in your path.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” – Deuteronomy 31:8

No matter what the week brings, you don’t have to face it alone. You don’t have to have it all figured out before Monday morning arrives. God’s grace is new every day, and His mercy meets you right where you are — before the first email, before the commute, before the coffee even brews.

Take a moment tonight to breathe deeply, release the weight of what you can’t control, and invite God into the new week. Whisper this simple prayer:

“Lord, go before me this week. Calm my thoughts, guide my steps, and strengthen my faith. Help me to work with peace in my heart, knowing You are in control.”

You are equipped for this week — not because of your own strength, but because God’s strength never runs out. Step into tomorrow knowing that His presence surrounds you in every detail. 🌿

✨ Journal Prompt:

  • What is one thing I can release to God before starting the new week?

  • How can I invite peace into my Monday morning routine?
